Forgiveness is an act of compassion, it is essential in the process of Freedom. You cannot free yourself without forgiving your brother in Christ.

Just as Jesus forgives us of our sins, and opened a door to eternity for us, we also need to forgive our brothers and sisters.

But what is forgiveness?                 Forgive is allow the person to come closer.

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

And, above all, forgive ourselves. Which always requires a first step: opening the door of the soul.

Peter asks: “Lord, how many times must I forgive if my brother sins against me? Up to seven times? And Jesus answers: “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven” (Mt 18, 21-23).

Forgiving our brothers and sisters from the heart brings us closer to the lessons of Jesus and the paths that God has reserved for us. It's something that makes us better people not only for ourselves, but for everyone around us.
